CHARACTERISTICS/ USES | A popular annual plant which grows to a height of 1 m and grows to about 0.3 m around. It has tiny beautiful flowers and colorful kaleidoscopic leaves. The leaves are oval in shape with toothed edges and brightly colored. The edges of the leaves are green with blood red veins in along the midribs. It bears small light mauve to violet color. It thrives in well drained loamy soils and loves half day sunlight to partial shade. It is a good pot plant and also as a border plant. |
